C. Steinweg Group, a global logistics service provider, was struggling with a growing and complex application landscape that made test automation hard to maintain. Its Java/Selenium-based test framework required significant upkeep, and low-code development was increasing the volume of APIs and applications faster than testing could keep up. Steinweg turned to Tricentis, using Tosca and qTest to support a low-code, end-to-end testing approach.

Tricentis implemented Tosca for automated API and GUI testing and qTest for test management, replacing manual tracking in Excel, Confluence, and Jira Zephyr. With help from Tricentis and a local partner, Steinweg streamlined its testing process and reduced framework maintenance. The results were significant: API test coverage increased 5x, GUI coverage rose 300%, and a developer previously dedicated full-time to framework maintenance was reassigned to more valuable work.
