Ortho Development Corporation, a medical device manufacturer specializing in orthopedic implants, had outgrown its Sage MAS 200 system and needed a new ERP platform to support growth, improve financial and production management, and maintain FDA compliance. Ortho worked with Tribridge to evaluate options and selected Microsoft Dynamics AX with SharePoint to meet its operational and regulatory needs.
Tribridge implemented the solution in phases, starting with core Dynamics AX functionality for financials, sales, purchasing, planning, production, quality, warehouse, and logistics, plus rental management for consigned hospital inventory. The project went live on schedule in April 2011 and helped Ortho support FDA tracking and audit requirements, improve visibility and control, streamline planning and production, and create a scalable foundation for future growth.
