Carroll County Memorial Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital serving four communities, was struggling with a legacy financial system that was hard to use, slow to customize, and unable to easily provide the data needed for budgeting, reporting, and audits. The hospital worked with Tribridge and adopted Microsoft Dynamics GP to replace the old system and better connect with its patient accounting environment.
Tribridge implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP with core accounting and budgeting modules, later adding payroll and supply chain integration. The result was faster budgeting, financial statements produced in minutes instead of days, and monthly journal entries reduced from 60+ to about 20. Carroll County Memorial Hospital also cut annual budgeting data entry from five days to two, reconciled patient accounting in minutes, and gained the ability to create reports internally with minimal training.
