Richmond and Wandsworth Councils, which share a staffing structure serving over half a million residents and around 3,500 employees, needed to improve a poor candidate experience (including a non‑mobile responsive process), track diversity and inclusion outcomes, identify where to spend scarce recruitment resources, and get infrequent hiring managers to use the ATS. To address these challenges they partnered with Tribepad to deploy a modern applicant tracking system plus contracts and onboarding tools.
Tribepad implemented a mobile‑optimised ATS with bespoke application journeys, anonymous applications, detailed diversity and source reporting, streamlined contracts and onboarding, and simplified hiring‑manager views. The solution reduced candidate drop‑off, improved ED&I insight and sourcing ROI, and sped up hiring — Richmond and Wandsworth Councils made 840 new hires in one year and now consistently meet their target of 80% of roles filled within 12 weeks.
