TRIARE worked with QuakeAlertUSA, the earthquake alert app designed to warn users of incoming seismic activity and help save lives. The customer’s main challenge was an outdated iOS codebase that was difficult and time-consuming to update while maintaining the existing app experience.

TRIARE chose to redesign and maintain the legacy iOS application rather than rebuild it from scratch, and also developed an Android app that matched the iOS logic. The solution delivered location tracking and push earthquake notifications across both platforms, helping QuakeAlertUSA provide timely alerts with warning times of 10 to 60+ seconds depending on the earthquake’s characteristics and the user’s location.
