WESTPOLE Chooses Trend Micro to Secure Its Systems and Those of Its Customers

WESTPOLE Italia, the Italian arm of WESTPOLE Europe, is an IT services provider with two data centers in Milan and Rome supporting about 500 clients across government, finance and private sectors. Facing the need to consolidate security under a single, reliable vendor, WESTPOLE sought a solution to lock down endpoints, secure its data centers and protect customers hosted in its cloud while keeping management simple and costs predictable.

WESTPOLE deployed Trend Micro Apex One for endpoints, Deep Security and Cloud One – Workload Security for data centers and hosted customers, plus Deep Discovery Inspector and TippingPoint for network defense. The consolidated platform delivered centralized management, comprehensive endpoint and server/cloud protection (securing roughly 1,000 machines), lighter operational overhead, virtual patching for legacy systems, and the ability to offer managed security services—next steps include extending protection to Office 365 and customer email.
