Trend Micro strengthens the security of health data exchanges for GCS Télésanté Lorraine

GCS Télésanté Lorraine is a health cooperation group serving 215 establishments in France’s Grand Est region, managing e‑health services and messaging for some 17,000 mailboxes. The organization faced rising spam, phishing and ransomware threats, growing bandwidth and server load, and increasing administrative complexity that its existing open‑source anti‑spam solution could no longer handle.

Working with partner IDO‑in, Télésanté ran a proof of concept and deployed Trend Micro Hosted Email Security to protect 17,000 mailboxes and roughly 600,000 messages per month. The hosted solution stopped spam and malicious emails upstream, reduced bandwidth and server load, simplified delegated administration, lowered costs with a fair billing model, and improved team productivity and resilience as the region consolidates e‑health services.
