Trend Micro helped Saga Group accelerate digital transformation thanks to advanced attack surface visibility

Saga Group is a 50+-year‑old Brazilian automotive and retail company representing 22 automakers, with BRL 8 billion in revenue and a network of dealerships and shopping centers. As it moved systems to the cloud beginning in 2016, the company faced growing cyber threats and needed better attack surface visibility, scalable consolidated security tools, and easier compliance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (GDPL).

Working with IPSense and using AWS Control Tower, Saga implemented Trend Vision One – Attack Surface Risk Management for Cloud (ASRM for Cloud) and Trend Vision One – Workload Security, creating an automated landing zone with centralized dashboards and daily compliance snapshots. The deployment improved threat detection and response (exposing and addressing a latent threat), simplified compliance work, and materially reduced the company’s exposure to data‑hijacking and account‑takeover risks.
