SK Shieldus, formed in 2021 by merging SK Infosec and ADT Caps, is an integrated physical- and cybersecurity provider serving over 1,800 customers across public, financial, and corporate sectors. Facing a small, highly competitive market and a strategic shift from on‑premises monitoring to cloud, OT/ICS and AI-driven services, the company needed faster responsiveness and stronger vendor partnerships to anticipate emerging threats and expand market share.
To address this, SK Shieldus partnered with Trend Micro, deploying Trend Vision One and Trend Micro Apex One while investing in pre-sales support, technical training and NFR demo environments and leveraging Trend’s competitive pricing and enhanced channel program. The collaboration helped SK Shieldus win major contracts (including a large South Korean bank), strengthen and expand its distributor network, and position the company to integrate Trend solutions across SK Group affiliates and grow its sales pipeline.
