A Trend Micro Case Study
Bruning Tecnometal is a 79‑year‑old Brazilian metal‑mechanical manufacturer serving major OEMs (GM, Mercedes‑Benz, Volvo, John Deere, and others) with ~1.5 billion in annual revenue and nearly 2,000 networked devices. Faced with a rise in cyberattacks, industrial espionage risks and new data‑protection requirements (GDPL), the company needed better visibility, faster incident response and stronger protection for engineering and customer data as it migrated servers to the cloud.
Bruning partnered with IntegraSul and deployed Trend Micro’s Trend Vision One platform and Smart Protection Suites (including XDR, Deep Discovery, Apex One, Cloud App Security, Email/App Security and DLP). The integrated solution gave Bruning real‑time risk visibility, intuitive dashboards and the ability to isolate affected assets quickly; the company reports no ransomware incidents since 2018, easier SOC operations, and mobile access to risk metrics that simplify response across its large network.
