Pivvot is a 26-person software company that builds intelligent asset management systems for infrastructure organizations (utilities and energy) and handles highly sensitive data such as pipeline locations. As it migrated to a cloud-native microservices architecture on AWS using Docker and ECS, Pivvot needed automated, built-in security that would protect customer data without slowing its fast-paced DevOps delivery cycles.

Pivvot adopted Trend Micro Cloud One (Workload Security), Deep Security Smart Check and endpoint protections to embed security into the build pipeline, scan container images and registries for malware, secrets and compliance violations, and automate protections at scale. The deployment accelerated API migration to containers, improved DevOps–security integration, surfaced vulnerabilities earlier in the pipeline, reduced operational risk, and enabled faster, secure delivery of compliant applications to customers.
