Nippon Information and Communication Corporation (NI+C), a Tokyo-based systems integrator focused on big data and cloud solutions, found its own IT infrastructure increasingly exposed to sophisticated attacks and information-leakage risks. After mapping its security posture, the company concluded that existing controls lacked internal visibility and rapid response capabilities and needed a solution that could detect, visualize and prioritize threats across the network.

NI+C deployed Trend Micro Deep Discovery Inspector to monitor internal traffic and integrated its logs with IBM QRadar SIEM using templates from IBM Security App Exchange. The combined solution provided real-time detection, richer visualization and automated correlation across log streams, speeding incident identification and response, improving operational efficiency, and enabling NI+C to deliver stronger security services to its customers.
