Matas, Denmark’s largest health and beauty retailer with 263 stores and a 1.6 million–member loyalty program, has rapidly expanded its digital business so that 25% of sales are now online. As it migrated workloads to Microsoft Azure and other cloud providers, the company’s top challenge was protecting customer payment and loyalty data, maintaining compliance, and gaining visibility across a multi-cloud, hybrid IT landscape to preserve customer trust.

To address this, Matas extended its long-standing partnership with Trend Micro, deploying Cloud One (Network and Workload Security), Managed XDR, TippingPoint, Deep Discovery and related solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. The integrated security stack enabled secure cloud migration, consolidated management and fewer vendors, improved visibility to prioritize critical threats, and supported rapid online growth while keeping customer data protected.
