IronEdge Group Complements Managed IT Services with Trend Micro Solutions

IronEdge Group is a Houston– and San Antonio–based managed service provider (founded in 2005) that supports more than 3,000 endpoints for enterprise customers and multi‑tenant property managers across North America. While using Kaseya for RMM, IronEdge faced inflexible licensing bundles, no centralized license tracking or easy reallocation for frequently changing properties, and inadequate protection from AVG that generated as many as ~90 virus‑related tickets per month and required costly on‑site visits.

To address this, IronEdge deployed Trend Micro’s Licensing Management Platform, Worry‑Free Business Security Services, and Worry‑Free Remote Manager (integrated with Kaseya). The solution provided unlimited licenses under a flat fee and a web portal for automated provisioning and renewal tracking, cloud‑hosted malware protection with URL/content filtering, and single‑pane remote management. Results included a dramatic drop in monthly tickets (from ~90 to about five), fewer on‑site visits, simplified license and template management, and improved reporting and operational efficiency.
