Impetus Technologies, a global software products and services firm with offices in the U.S., India and Canada, faced growing endpoint risk after the pandemic-driven shift to remote work. Its legacy signature-based endpoint protection lacked visibility and EDR capabilities across on-premises and cloud environments for about 2,500 endpoints, leaving threat detection and response slow and support unresolved.

After a proof-of-concept evaluation, Impetus deployed Trend Micro Vision One (with Apex One as a Service and Cloud/Workload protections) to gain extended detection and response across endpoints, email and cloud workloads. The platform improved granularity and cross-layer visibility, reduced MTTD and MTTR, delivered a smoother transition with vendor support, and now protects 2,500 endpoints with scalable coverage expected to handle about 4,000 next year.
