Viking Biking, an Oslo-based tour operator, faced a time-consuming and unprofessional booking process using a basic WordPress plug-in that limited offerings, had a complicated back-end only a few staff could use, and required manual entry of marketplace bookings. In 2016 CEO Curtis Rojak chose TrekkSoft and its professional online booking platform (including a POS desk, mobile app and marketplace integrations) to provide an easy-to-use, scalable alternative to building a bespoke system.

TrekkSoft set up the integrated booking system within weeks, delivering a simpler back-end, a POS desk now used directly by the Oslo Tourism Office, a TrekkSoft app for on‑the‑go payments, and API links to Viator, GYG and Expedia. As a result, Viking Biking broadened its portfolio, improved its professional online appearance (driving higher bookings), and freed staff 30–45 minutes per day to focus on customer experience and growth.
