A Treehouse Case Study
Treehouse partnered with ARISE High School, a public high school in the United States, to address challenges in providing accessible, high-quality technical education to its diverse student body. The school faced barriers including budget constraints, lack of hardware access, and cultural attitudes that discouraged students from pursuing coding, all within a public education system struggling to secure qualified computer science teachers.
Implementing the Treehouse Techdegree program and curriculum, ARISE High School provided students with a structured, university-level online coding education. The solution enabled students like Vanessa to graduate with a computer science credential, directly preparing them for STEM careers or strengthening university applications. Treehouse delivered expert-designed content and support, allowing the school to successfully offer a tech education that gives students an equal opportunity to gain in-demand skills and pursue lucrative career paths.
