The client, a large energy technology company, was facing significant challenges with high costs from its existing Analytics Acceleration Service (AAS) cubes powering its sales reports on Power BI. Tredence was engaged to help modernize the client's global data platform to reduce expenditure and enable better governance.

Tredence conducted a detailed evaluation and selected Snowflake as the new cloud data warehouse after a successful proof-of-concept. By leveraging Snowflake's key features like separating compute from storage and auto-scaling, Tredence successfully reduced the client's operational costs by approximately 35% for the same workload while also improving performance.
