Multinational Food and Beverage Corporation, a global U.S.-based manufacturer operating in more than 200 countries, was relying on legacy applications and on-premises databases that drove up maintenance costs and slowed data operations. The company turned to Tredence to help modernize its data environment and move to a more efficient cloud-driven architecture using Azure-based services.

Tredence implemented a three-phase migration approach: ingesting data into Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, re-coding legacy UNIX logic in Synapse, and building Power BI dashboards from the Synapse layer as the semantic model. The solution migrated 120+ tables, executed 100+ test cases, created 25+ Synapse views, and helped reduce dependency on legacy systems by about 75%, with 17 markets migrated and two new markets added.
