Global Business Travel Company needed better visibility into business performance earlier in the month, since they could only see end-of-month transaction results. Tredence helped address this challenge by building a forecasting solution to predict monthly business transactions and indicate whether targets were likely to be met.

Tredence implemented a univariate time series forecasting model to estimate day-level transactions by country and line of business for the remainder of each month, with holiday corrections for day-, date-, and lunar-based holidays. The solution was delivered through a Tableau dashboard that gave users quick access to forecast vs. actual trends; it achieved over 95% accuracy for key countries and over 85% for others, with around 200 active users worldwide.
