United Internet, a leading European internet specialist with over 28 million paid customer contracts and a complex, multi‑ERP treasury landscape, faced severe strain on its payment systems from massive transaction volumes that risked system crashes and created inefficient, non‑harmonized processes. To address the need for stable, faster processing, reduced in‑house IT maintenance and format handling, and a future‑proof treasury architecture, United Internet engaged TIS (Treasury Intelligence Solutions) to deliver a cloud‑based, centralized payment platform (including the TIS‑Agent for SAP integration).

TIS implemented its central payment platform across five sub‑groups in four months, covering 80 companies, 170 accounts at 14 banks and managing an annual transaction volume in the triple‑digit millions; 130 users were onboarded via SSO and integrations to ERP and banks were tuned in the following four months.
