Imperial Logistics, a Duisburg‑based logistics provider with 9,000 employees, 170 locations and €1.6 billion in revenue, faced growing complexity after acquisitions: 150 legal entities, ~200 bank accounts across ~40 banks, fragmented signatory powers, no automatic forwarding of payment requests from ERPs to banks, and limited cash‑flow visibility. To address these challenges Imperial Logistics selected TIS (Treasury Intelligence Solutions) and its cloud‑based payments platform, including the TIS Bank Account Manager, to standardize bank connectivity and centralize payment controls.

TIS implemented a centralized, cloud payments hub that automatically transmits encrypted payment files from SAP/ERP systems to banks, consolidates bank account and signatory management, and logs every action for compliance. As a result Imperial Logistics drastically reduced the number of people with bank signatory power, eliminated individual online banking systems, gained real‑time, group‑wide transparency of payments (time, amount, initiating system and approver), and removed the need for an SAP BCM license — significantly improving security, traceability and processing efficiency thanks to TIS.
