Hilti Group standardizes payment processes around the globe with TIS

Hilti Group, a global leader in professional construction tools and services, faced fragmented, locally managed payment processes across more than 120 countries with several hundred active bank accounts, multiple ERP systems (SAP Business Suite and SAP ByDesign), seven Financial Shared Service Centers and millions of transactions. To achieve global process standardization, greater transparency, enhanced payment security and bank account management, Hilti selected TIS (Treasury Intelligence Solutions) as its payments partner.

TIS implemented its cloud-based payments platform for bank account management and end-to-end payment processing, integrating with Hilti’s ERPs and treasury systems and providing direct bank connectivity for Straight-Through Processing (STP). The TIS solution made payment files visible and traceable (arrival, signatures, execution and error messages), enabled secure remote access, consolidated cashflow visibility and eliminated manual intervention, supporting several hundred accounts, many hundred users and millions of transactions through improved compliance, efficiency and transparency.
