FrieslandCampina, the Dutch multinational dairy cooperative, faced a fragmented global payments landscape—about 70 banks and nearly 700 accounts across multiple local ERPs and more than a dozen e-banking tools—resulting in labour‑intensive payment processing and no central cash‑flow transparency. To address this, FrieslandCampina selected TIS (Treasury Intelligence Solutions) and its cloud‑based, SAP‑integrated Enterprise Payment Optimization Platform (including Bank Transaction Manager and Bank Account Manager) as the single payments and bank‑account management solution.

TIS implemented a multibank, SaaS payment platform that consolidated bank connections, enabled host‑to‑host and EBICS channels, and delivered a central cockpit for visibility and control. The deployment standardized and automated payments, achieved straight‑through processing with full ERP integration, reduced complexity and labour in IT and treasury operations, and produced significant cost savings—while improving security (ISO/IEC 27001) and enabling rapid regional rollouts (Europe go‑live followed by Asia).
