Wish, the “Shopping Mall in Your Pocket,” needed to guide mobile shoppers who browse rather than search by unifying customer data from many sources and delivering personalized experiences at massive scale. The challenge was to collect and act on behavioral, transaction, marketing and vendor data quickly enough to predict what customers want as they browse.

To solve this, Wish deployed Treasure Data’s enterprise CDP to ingest up to 17+ billion events per day and feed ML-powered recommendations and experiments. The platform enabled a 7% lift in international mobile checkouts from a single A/B test, drove 2× year‑over‑year conversion growth, and helped Wish become the #1 mobile shopping app with about 15 million daily active users by surfacing highly relevant products in customers’ feeds.
