AdRoll, a San Francisco-based advertising platform, needed a better way to keep its Salesforce opportunity records accurate and up to date. Because AdRoll uses Salesforce in a customized way to track “advertisable” web properties, its teams needed to continually enrich and refresh opportunity data with website rank and other attributes from Clearbit and BuiltWith. Tray.ai’s Tray Platform was used to solve the integration challenge.
With Tray.ai, AdRoll built flexible automations that check website rank weekly in Clearbit, update Salesforce as needed, and sync more than 200 website attributes from BuiltWith while removing outdated data. The result is fresher, more accurate opportunity data for 650,000 Salesforce opportunities, supporting 200 sales and marketing users and helping Tray.ai manage about five million data updates each week.
