H5 Helicopters, a Scottsdale-based full-service operator of custom tours, charters, commercial filming and external-load work, was tracking maintenance with basic Excel spreadsheets for its AS350 B2 “SaberCat1.” That manual system placed a heavy burden on their mechanic, lacked scalability as they considered adding aircraft and new longline operations, and made it difficult to harmonize flight planning and maintenance records—so in late 2018 they integrated Traxxall maintenance software.
