Cloudways, a leading managed cloud hosting platform, faced a challenge with an inefficient and time-consuming customer support process. When customers experienced technical issues, the resolution required extensive back-and-forth with support engineers, leading to frustrating delays due to varying levels of user expertise. To tackle this, Cloudways partnered with vendor Traversal to implement its AI SRE platform.
The solution, branded as Cloudways Copilot, is an end-to-end self-healing tool that autonomously diagnoses issues and enables one-click automated remediation. Powered by Traversal, the platform drastically reduced the mean time to resolution and is projected to save 96,000 support engineering hours annually. Following a successful pilot, the tool was rolled out to all of Cloudways' 845,000+ customer applications, handling thousands of investigations per day with over 95% accuracy.
