Case Study: Procter & Gamble achieves stronger cyber resilience with TrapX Security

A TrapX Security Case Study

Preview of the Procter & Gamble Case Study

A Fortune 500 company and manufacturing leader partnered with TrapX to enhance information & operational technology cybersecurity defenses

Procter & Gamble partnered with TrapX Security to strengthen cybersecurity across its manufacturing operations. Like many industrial organizations, P&G faced the challenge of protecting legacy OT systems, embedded devices, and third-party-managed equipment in environments where traditional IT security tools such as patching and log-heavy monitoring were difficult to use.

TrapX Security implemented DeceptionGrid to deploy hundreds of decoys across P&G’s manufacturing sites, including simulated workstations, servers, sites, and devices. The solution provided centralized, non-intrusive monitoring with high-fidelity alerts, helping P&G detect insider threats, malware, misconfigurations, and advanced attackers while reducing SOC workload; according to P&G, it cut monitoring time from 12-hour days to 10-hour days.
