Transit Authority of River City (TARC) partnered with Trapeze Group to address outdated and incomplete bus stop inventory data across its 6,500 stops in the Louisville area and nearby counties. Before adopting Trapeze Bus Stop Manager, TARC used inconsistent methods to track bus stop assets, making it difficult to maintain accurate records, support future technology projects, and qualify for funding tied to stop characteristics.

Trapeze Group implemented Bus Stop Manager, a browser-based asset management solution, to help TARC survey and document every bus stop with GPS locations, amenities, attributes, work orders, and images. As a result, TARC created a single, complete repository for bus stop information, improved maintenance tracking and customer follow-up, and gained the data needed to support additional funding and other systems such as call center tools, web applications, AVL, and Wayside signage.
