Regional Transportation District (RTD) of Denver needed a better way to manage maintenance, inspections, parts, labor, and reporting across a large, mixed transit operation spanning buses, rail, paratransit, facilities, and contractor-maintained vehicles. RTD chose Trapeze Group’s integrated Enterprise Asset Management suite, including FleetFocus, RailFocus, LinearFocus, and EquipmentFocus, to replace paper-based processes and provide a single system for tracking operations in real time.
With Trapeze Group’s solution, RTD became a largely paperless shop, captured labor and work orders in real time, improved reporting and audit readiness, and better managed inspections, serialized components, and rebuild operations. The system also enabled more than 100 custom reports, helped reduce audit preparation time, improved maintenance efficiency and equipment availability, and allowed RTD to track true operating and lifecycle costs across its fleet.
