Alternate Concepts, Inc. (ACI) needed a long-term technology partner to support its 29-year contract to operate and maintain the Regional Transportation District’s new commuter rail line. With responsibility for vehicles, tracks, stations, power infrastructure, crossings, and more, ACI required a unified asset management system that could handle complex maintenance and budgeting requirements over the life of the project. Trapeze Group’s EAM solution was selected to help meet those demands.

Trapeze Group implemented an integrated, scalable EAM platform to manage asset procurement, replacement, replenishment, labor allocation, warranties, repairs, renewals, inspections, and preventive maintenance compliance. The system also automated failure alerts and connected seamlessly with back-office and third-party systems. As a result, ACI gained full visibility into assets and documentation, improved maintenance automation, and strong support for RTD’s A-Line service across 23 miles, 8 stations, and 5 partners, while continuing to extend the solution with tools like Yard Manager.
