Case Study: LYNX improves fleet maintenance and reliability with Trapeze Group EAM

A Trapeze Group Case Study

Preview of the LYNX Case Study

How Smart Maintenance Helped LYNX Reach their Goals

LYNX, the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority, operates a large fixed-route transit network with 300 buses across 77 routes and a service area spanning more than 2,500 square miles. To keep up with heavy daily mileage and round-the-clock maintenance demands, the agency needed a better way to manage preventive maintenance, road calls, and fleet reliability, and turned to Trapeze Group’s Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.

Trapeze Group’s EAM gave LYNX a single real-time system of record for tracking vehicle and component maintenance, costs, inventory, and work history. The solution helped technicians and managers make faster, data-driven decisions, extend maintenance intervals, and better manage more than $1 million in parts inventory. As a result, LYNX improved operational insight and supported strong service performance, contributing to a 14% increase in ridership from 2010 to 2015.
