Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) partnered with Trapeze Group to improve operations management across its 652-bus fleet and 1,200 bus drivers. DART needed a faster, more reliable way to handle employee sign-ins, schedule tracking, and bid requests, since its manual process relied on 3x5 cards, spreadsheets, and in-person or phone communication.
Trapeze Group implemented OPS-Web (Employee Information and Bidding Requests) and OPS-SIT (Sign-In Terminal) to automate timekeeping, employee communication, and work bidding. The solution helped DART reduce supervisor workload from 2–3 supervisors managing bidding requests down to 1, saved clerks time on sign-ins and schedule requests, and flagged driver hours to prevent overages—delivering a more efficient, productive operation.
