Newbury Park Bicycle Shop, a Southern California bicycle and bike accessory retailer, wanted to grow in a saturated local market with stiff competition from newer bike shops. It worked with Tranzlogic to better understand its best customers, improve marketing, and guide expansion decisions.
Using Tranzlogic’s online portal and analytics, the shop identified key customer segments, market reach, and target households, then launched highly targeted marketing campaigns and refined product mix and pricing. The results included at least 15% same-store sales growth each year, a 90% increase in average ticket, a 132% increase in transactions from target customers, and an expanded store footprint with a second location twice the size of the original, while planning additional stores.
