Rexam, a global leader in aluminium beverage can manufacturing, faced fragmented, manual distribution communications across carriers, 3PLs and legacy systems that caused data errors, loading bay congestion and local traffic issues. To address these supply chain visibility and scheduling challenges Rexam turned to Transwide’s web‑based TMS (on‑demand TMS).

Transwide implemented its SaaS suite — including twCalloff, twSlot and twData — to automate dispatch, slot booking and data warehousing; twCalloff replaced manual ordering at 11 Rexam locations and the solution has been in use for seven years. The Transwide platform eliminated most phone/fax/email tasks, improved inbound/outbound visibility, reduced waiting times and bottlenecks, and enabled stronger KPI monitoring so Rexam teams can better plan resources and spend more time serving customers.
