McKesson, a global healthcare supply chain leader, needed better visibility into final-mile deliveries across thousands of daily routes and stops. Its legacy EDI-based courier information process was costly and hard to maintain, and the team lacked strong tracking, exception alerts, and confidence in delivery windows for more than 25,000 customers. McKesson worked with TransVoyant and its Delivery Visibility System (DVS) to modernize delivery visibility and transportation operations.

TransVoyant implemented a virtual logistics control tower and middleware layer that captured live courier data, enabled real-time track-and-trace, provided precise ETA/PTA updates, and supported proof of delivery, performance scorecards, and customer-service views. The result was a shift from delayed reporting to instantaneous delivery updates, with better operational oversight for 30+ couriers, 3,500+ daily routes, 30,000 daily route stops, and 250,000+ daily totes, improving service and visibility across McKesson’s pharmaceutical supply chain.
