Iuvo Logistics realizes new efficiencies in freight assignment and dock scheduling

Iuvo Logistics, a U.S.-based mid-size specialty carrier, needed a more technology-driven way to meet customer expectations and integrate with shipper systems. One of its largest customers required collaboration through the Transporeon platform, pushing Iuvo to improve freight assignment, dock scheduling, and shipment visibility.

Using Transporeon’s carrier platform, Iuvo Logistics can accept shipments, book dock appointments, and track progress more efficiently, with plans to add a direct EDI connection to its internal system. The result is faster turnaround for scheduled loads—about one hour versus up to six hours for unscheduled work-ins—better transparency, and reduced risk of costly missed pickups, which Iuvo estimates at $1,800 per lost freight order.
