Chatbot Localization for Catalia Health

Catalia Health, maker of the AI-driven Mabu Care Insights Platform, needed to launch a Spanish version of its conversational agent Mabu to support a patient-reported outcome (PRO) project for a major pharmaceutical client. To expand patient reach and ensure accurate, localized interactions, Catalia Health engaged TransPerfect DataForce to optimize the chatbot’s language capabilities.

TransPerfect DataForce delivered data collection, annotation, and chatbot adaptation services using computational linguists and a global community (1,000,000 members, linguistic experts in over 200 languages), working on or alongside client tools to keep data under control. As a result, TransPerfect enabled Catalia Health to localize Mabu into Spanish, improving accessibility and allowing a significantly larger patient and customer population to use Mabu for the PRO project.
