Burson Marsteller, a leading global public relations and public affairs firm, developed the “The New Color of Money” campaign to introduce the redesigned $10 bill worldwide. Facing a tight deadline and the need to translate and desktop-publish a large volume of marketing collateral (web forms, booklets, posters, brochures, press releases, and fact sheets) into 24 languages, Burson Marsteller hired TransPerfect for translation and desktop publishing/localization services.
TransPerfect mobilized its global network and full staff—from senior executives to interns—to translate and format approximately 250,000 words into 24 languages, including complex scripts and obscure languages such as Kazakh and Uzbek, in a remarkably short turnaround. TransPerfect completed the work on time, maintained message consistency across languages, and directly supported the successful international unveiling of the new $10 bill.
