Angels Initiative - Customer Case Study

The Angels Initiative, part of Boehringer Ingelheim, is building a global community of stroke-ready hospitals with a goal to save 100,000 lives in five years. Active in 12 countries, the program relies on localized websites and e-learning to train ER teams, but consultants were spending valuable hours reviewing translations instead of onboarding hospitals. To address this, the Angels engaged TransPerfect and its OneLink localization solution.

TransPerfect activated OneLink to localize the Angels’ site and training materials and assembled pre-approved language review teams so consultants no longer needed to vet translations. As a result of TransPerfect’s support, the Angels Initiative now includes 1,500 stroke-ready hospitals and consultant teams are focused on spreading the program and onboarding new hospitals across the globe, accelerating progress toward their 100,000‑lives goal.

Angels Initiative
