A Transifex Case Study
Eventbrite, the world’s largest self-service ticketing platform, needed a developer-friendly localization system to deliver authentic, localized experiences across global markets. The team required a single UI to manage, translate, and review strings, smooth integration with their Wagtail CMS, and the ability to handle a major backend redesign and string searches across many languages (eventually 26).
By integrating Transifex’s API, Eventbrite automated detection, translation, and publishing—giving translators predictable workflows and localization managers clear visibility with cross-project search. They leveraged Translation Memory (over 10 million words) to migrate without downtime, publish landing pages in 26 languages, and use TM autofill and Amazon Translate to boost automation. The result: hours of engineering time saved weekly, seamless scaling from 16 locales to 26 languages, and a streamlined workflow between localization and engineering teams.
