Case Study: Deezer achieves a 3-day content turnaround and centralized translation with Transifex

A Transifex Case Study

Preview of the Deezer Case Study

Deezer delivers content within a 3-day turnaround with the help of 100+ collaborators

Deezer, a global music streaming service with 16 million monthly users and more than 70 million tracks available in 180+ countries, needed to scale and streamline localization across product, marketing and support. The Localization team centralized translation for 35 languages to meet continuous delivery cycles (daily web updates and biweekly app releases), but only half of content was previously processed through a translation tool, creating consistency, quality and cost issues. Key requirements included support for diverse assets and file types, easy onboarding for non-linguists, advanced translation features and API connectivity.

By expanding and standardizing use of Transifex and onboarding stakeholders, Deezer built a more reliable localization workflow using contextualization, glossary and plural support, translation memory, tagging/filters, comment/Slack integration and connections to their CMS and tools. As a result, 98% of weekly content now flows through Transifex, enabling a 3-day turnaround with 100+ collaborators and significantly improved consistency, quality and control.
