APEX, a Heimdal-based housing software company founded in 2014, builds tools that let developers, contractors and customers manage orders, tasks, inspections and handovers. When many users didn’t speak the app’s default language, APEX outgrew spreadsheet-based localization: translators lacked context, translation quality and turnaround suffered, and the team needed a more modern, contextual workflow.

APEX implemented Transifex and the Transifex Native Angular SDK to deliver contextual translations without extra build steps. The change sped up deployment, increased collaboration and simultaneous translation/review capacity, reduced turnaround time and nearly eliminated manual/repetitive tasks (with only reviews remaining), and allowed partial automation via machine translation.
