Kbx Logistics Announces Partnership With Transflo to Offer Automated Ebol & Epod Solutions

KBX Logistics, an independent Koch Industries company, sought to digitize its manual bills of lading and proof of delivery processes. The challenge was to create a touch-free, efficient, and compliant document workflow for its extensive network of shippers, carriers, and receivers, a need further accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Partnering with vendor Transflo, KBX Logistics implemented automated electronic Bill of Lading (eBOL) and electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) solutions.

The solution from Transflo leveraged the widely adopted Transflo Mobile+ app, allowing documents to be uploaded, scanned, and signed electronically from any device. This provided real-time access to date-and-time-stamped documents stored in the cloud for all parties involved in a shipment. The results included greater efficiency, enhanced safety by limiting personnel interactions, improved compliance, and lower operational costs. For customer Georgia-Pacific, this meant a rapid transition from a nearly 100% manual process to a completely touch-free, electronically stored solution.
