Celadon Tributes TRANSFLO Document Imaging as the Foundation to Improve Business Processes Across the Entire Enterprise

Celadon, a North American truckload carrier, faced slow driver-pay and billing workflows and needed to lower Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). After an earlier imaging effort failed, Celadon selected Transflo’s TRANSFLO document imaging solution (go‑live December 2000) to speed paperwork capture, indexing and retrieval across the enterprise.

Transflo implemented TRANSFLO (and later TRANSFLO Express truck‑stop scanning and Rendition Print) to scan, index and electronically distribute documents, enabling near‑instant retrieval and email/EDI delivery. The change eliminated two days of DSO from incoming paperwork, removed roughly three more days through faster receivables resolution, cut courier costs, and let Celadon absorb a $50 million revenue acquisition with zero additional back‑office hires; Transflo’s solution became the foundation for companywide process improvements.
