MSAD 6 is a rural district west of Portland that transports 3,400 students across Buxton, Hollis, Limington, Standish, and Frye Island. Managing 73 buses and nearly 1 million miles a year, the district needed a better way to route students and consolidate bus runs. It began using Transfinder’s Routefinder Pro and Infofinder le after previously using Versatrans.

With Transfinder, MSAD 6 imported student data from Infinite Campus, accurately geocoded students, and created more efficient bus routes. The district reduced 1,062 trips, 670 bus stops, and 36,285 miles, and saved $100,872.30 in repairs, services, and transportation costs. It also added Infofinder mobile to document incidents in the field and provide information quickly when needed.
