Falmouth Public Schools in Maine needed to make better use of the Transfinder software it had purchased in 2007, including Routefinder Pro and Infofinder, but the tools were not being used to their potential. When Phil Dobson joined as Assistant to the Transportation Director in 2008, he began working to get the system fully functional.
With support from Transfinder resources such as Mytransfinder, pre-recorded webinars, and technical support, the district put the routing software and Servicefinder to use. Falmouth Public Schools saved $4,400 each year in annual maintenance fees and avoided a $1,000 annual fee for Servicefinder, while also saving countless hours and gaining a clearer view of transportation operations.
