The customer, VietQR and MoMo, provides popular domestic payment systems in Vietnam but faced challenges for businesses engaged in cross-border trade, including high fees, slow settlement times, and limited USD access. To address this, they worked with vendor TransFi to integrate stablecoin payment solutions.

TransFi implemented a solution that links the local payment rails to stablecoin networks via crypto payment gateways and off-ramp partners. This allows businesses to receive instant USDT or USDC payments from abroad, which are then converted to Vietnamese Dong and settled directly into VietQR-linked bank accounts or MoMo wallets. The results for businesses include significantly lower transaction costs, instant USD settlements bypassing traditional delays, and enhanced access to global markets.
