Warehouse Club, an international wholesale chain, needed a more cost-effective way to manage building operations and control rising energy costs as it planned six new warehouse stores in the United States and Mexico. The company already had BAS in existing facilities, but previous web-based options were too expensive. Trane Commercial was brought in to help with a more affordable, scalable approach using Trane HVAC equipment and Tracer™ SC controls.

Trane Commercial implemented Trane Precedent™ and Voyager™ rooftop units with factory-mounted controls, Trane HVAC unit controls, and a Tracer™ SC web-based building automation system. The integrated solution improved comfort, simplified facility management, enabled remote monitoring and control, and reduced energy and operating costs. The investment was expected to pay back within 18 months.
